Today I just want to share a quote from don Quixote, it goes as follows:
"—Now, Mr. Governor," replied the boy with great wit, "let's be reasonable and get to the point. Suppose your grace commands that I be taken to prison, and that there they put me in shackles and chains, and that they throw me into a dungeon, and that severe penalties are imposed on the jailer if he lets me out, and that he complies as ordered; with all this, if I do not want to sleep and I stay awake all night without closing my eyes, would your grace, with all your power, be able to make me sleep if I do not want to?"
-Don Quixote, Miguel de Cervantes.
This talks about a man who is being punished, he says that no matter what the punishment is, they can't make him sleep in the jail, because no one can force him to sleep that night, he was making the point that when we loose everything, we have the control of our own heads, no one can steal the content that is inside our heads. Is there something more important than that?
